Agreeing to these terms
These terms apply when you use the Concord Precision Epoxy Flooring website, ask us for an estimate or hire us for work at your home or business. By using the site or booking a job with us, you agree to them.
If you have a signed written agreement with us for a specific job, that agreement controls wherever it differs from this page. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the site or book work with us. You can always contact us with questions first.
What we do
Concord Precision Epoxy Flooring is a flooring contractor in Concord, CA. We install and repair concrete floor systems, including epoxy and polyaspartic coatings, polished and stained concrete, overlays, sealing and surface preparation, for homes and businesses in Concord and the cities around it.
The service descriptions on our home page and elsewhere on this site are general information. The exact work we'll do on your floor, the materials we'll use and the areas we'll cover are set out in your written estimate or agreement, not on the website. You can read more about how we work on our About page.
Estimates and pricing
Our estimates are free and come with no obligation to book. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure at the visit, so it reflects the size of the area, the condition of the concrete, the coating or finish you choose and how much preparation the floor needs.
Some things only show up once the old coating comes off or the grinding starts, such as moisture coming up through the slab, hidden cracks, old adhesives or soft concrete. If we find a condition like that, we'll stop, show you what we found and explain the options and any change in price before we do extra work. We won't charge for added work you haven't approved.
An estimate stays good for the period written on it. After that, material costs and our schedule may have changed, so we may need to update it.
Scheduling, delays and cancellation
We'll agree on a start date with you when you book. Coatings and sealers need the right temperature, humidity and slab conditions to bond and cure, so we may move a date when weather or the condition of the concrete would put the result at risk. We'll tell you as early as we can and set a new date with you.
You're responsible for giving our crew clear access to the work area on the scheduled day. That usually means moving vehicles, furniture and stored items out, and keeping people and pets off the floor until we say it has cured enough to use. Walking on or loading a floor before then can damage the finish, and that damage isn't covered by our workmanship.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call us at (925) 536-0504 as soon as you know. Your written agreement sets out any charge for materials already ordered or work already done, along with any cancellation rights California law gives you.
Payment
The payment schedule for your job, including any deposit and when the balance is due, is written in your estimate or agreement. Any deposit will follow the limits set by California law.
Payment is due on the dates in your agreement. If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's made, and we may recover reasonable costs of collecting an unpaid balance to the extent the law allows.
Warranties and what they don't cover
Any warranty on our workmanship is the one written in your agreement, and it covers only the terms stated there. Material warranties come from the product makers, and we'll pass along whatever they offer. Following the care instructions we give you at the end of the job helps keep those warranties in place.
Concrete moves and changes over time, so no coating can stop the slab underneath from settling or cracking. Unless your agreement says otherwise, our work doesn't cover cracks or movement in the slab itself, moisture or water problems we couldn't detect or that you chose not to address, damage from hot tires, chemicals, heavy impact or dragging, normal wear, or natural color variation in concrete, stains and decorative flakes.
The information on this website is provided as is. We try to keep it accurate, but we don't promise it's complete or current, and it isn't a substitute for an on-site look at your floor.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, Concord Precision Epoxy Flooring isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost use of a space, lost business income or the cost of storing your belongings during the job.
Our total liability for any claim connected to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job, except where California law doesn't allow that limit. Nothing on this page limits liability for our own gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Using this website
You may use this site to learn about our services and get in touch with us. Please don't copy its content for commercial use, try to interfere with how it works or send false information through our forms.
Some pages may link to other websites, such as a city office or a product maker. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for what they say or how they handle your information.
How we handle a disagreement
If you're unhappy with our work, call us first. Most problems are settled faster and cheaper by having us come back out, look at the floor with you and agree on a fix.
If we can't settle it that way, we both agree to try mediation with a neutral mediator before going to court, with the cost of the mediator shared equally. If mediation doesn't resolve it, either side may take the matter to a court in Contra Costa County, California. Nothing here stops either of us from using small claims court where the claim qualifies.
Governing law
These terms, and any work we do for you, are governed by the laws of the State of California. If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page from time to time. The version posted here when you book a job is the one that applies to that job, and changes we make later won't alter an agreement you've already signed.
